After Friday night’s ICA shindig, we holed up to make some serious headway on designs for thank yous, wedding invitations and monograms, interrupted only by groceries and a disappointing fourth place trivia finish. We also finally got around to photographing invitations that were designed for Danielle (and Nick’s) shower and bachelorette weekend.

Happy Friday! We’re aiming not to let the dreary weather (really, it’s spring now?) dampen our spirits. Tonight we’ll head to the ICA for their annual Party on the Harbor, and with Jack’s final paper for the semester out of the way we may be able to enjoy some Derby festivities or SoWa’s opening day […]
Sometimes, art falls neatly into themes; more often, something strikes a chord that brings to mind an entirely unrelated work previously viewed. For me, these connections – the common ground – can be fascinating. I had tucked the photo-sculptural work of Scott Hazard away in a Pinterest board ages ago, but this particular piece – […]
Happy Friday! Jack will spend most of our weekend making headway on a final paper, and I’ve got wedding invitations and website proposals to tuck into. But first! A few things that caught our eye this week. We caught wind of Boston-based OoOTie (rhymes with bow tie) through 9tailors – and oh, what fun. OoOTie offers […]
Years ago, when Jack and I first got together, we bonded over a love of Scrabble. Our games would drag on for hours – I would occasionally doze off waiting for my turn – so I eventually bought a travel version that could be packed up with letters still in place, to be continued by […]
Jack and I enjoyed our second long weekend in a row (yes, I’ll count Marathon Monday as a day off), as we spent the entirety of Friday celebrating the nuptials of some dear friends. They had perfect weather for their day (meaning Jack got to break out the grey suit), and the immensely talented Hannah Persson […]
We’ve been very, very lucky to be very, very busy with work for some pretty terrific clients lately. Most of our current projects are still under wraps, but with these Save the Dates having been mailed out last week, we’re excited to share a few quick shots here.
A spare day? This is the stuff of my dreams! (Though really, an extra hour or two per day would be better still.) In broad strokes, I understand the concept of the Leap Year, and you probably do, too; that understanding didn’t stop me from enjoying – and learning from – C. G. P. Grey’s […]
We’re not much for Valentine’s Day ourselves. (Arbitrarily assigned love days are out. Sneaky surprises on random Fridays are in.) Tonight, Jack has class, and I’m headed out for an annual night in with some of my very favorite women. We will, as always, rendezvous at home. I will, as always, think he’s pretty neat. […]
Last week, the Globe events team announced a love note contest on twitter – submit your note for a chance to surprise your sweetheart with a prize. I quickly tapped out a silly haiku.
