Sometimes, a shift in perspective can make a world of difference; I think we can all benefit from a challenge to our point of view from time to time.
This weekend, photographer Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze caught my eye with his Vertical Horizon series.
Turning his lens upward, Jacquet-Lagrèze has captured Hong Kong’s skyline from the ground up, with some really fascinating results. Honestly, it makes me want to wander around the Financial District on my lunch break staring upwards.
Be sure to check out the rest of the series, and more work on other subjects, at the photographer’s site.

Makes me rather dizzy just looking at them. Seriously. I wonder if there’s an explanation to that.
