It’s Spring, it’s April – and it’s still brisk and cool in Boston. The snowbanks are receding, though, and a few brave daffodil sprouts have broken through in our front yard; we’re looking forward to the coming changes in our dreary landscape!
Even as we’ve begun to narrow our focus to the colors we really love working with the most, the trend of moody floral patterns has been popping up and piquing our interest. The dark, distinguished feeling of these florals has seemed fitting this season in New England, as the cold temperatures remain at odds with the calendar.
In art and in design, in wedding stationery and in web layouts, dark floral designs play well with our favorite black and gold scheme, and we’ve been excited to see this trend spreading throughout event designs and wedding plans, and in art old and new.
