Sturdivant Island

Last weekend we packed up sleeping bags, bathing suits and lasagna and headed to Sturdivant Island with 23 friends for a quick getaway.

There were lawn games, board games and card games; we swam, we paddled, we ate, we drank and we got eaten alive by mosquitoes. (Turns out, the bug situation is very different in June than our last trip in October. Oops.) Even though we got stuck for an extra night, there was plenty of sunshine and good times were had by all.
