Yesterday was a hectic day for us, and a blustery one at that. By the time we found ourselves walking home from Canary Square post-poutine, we were plotting stops along the way to get in from the cold – and then we happened upon OGO Gallery.
Occupying what has lately been vacant retail space in JP, the OGO Gallery aims to provide temporary gallery space for local artists, while also showcasing the vacant space available for lease.
Founder Eileen Taylor, a SMFA graduate herself, is currently featuring soon-to-be SMFA grads in the 405 Centre Street space during the Tenfold exhibit.
We were smitten with Pawel Przewlocki’s Injury bots on boards, and had to chuckle at Ariel Danielle Norris’ bike lock assembly and Walker Evans Instagram square painting.
