Q. Where did your blog name, Union Jack Creative, come from?
A: The blog shares the name of the design firm I run with my partner, Jack. When we got started, Jack had been playing around with the Union Jack flag in his work, and we liked the way “Union Jack” reflected on our combining our individual skills to form the business, and of course also included his name. “Creative” is an umbrella to cover all of the projects we take on – web and print design, primarily, but also calligraphy, event planning, woodworking, craft, cooking and the occasional slate coaster.
