On Thursday, Jack and I headed out to Indochino’s pop-up shop on Clarendon Street, and caught up again with Smita, and Jeff Lahens of DressCode Boston.
Vancouver-based Indochino is similar in concept to Boston’s 9Tailors, offering customizable, made-to-measure suiting at affordable prices. Until recently, Indochino operated online, requiring clients to submit their own measurements; now, they’re traveling the country hosting brief pop-up shops in select cities to allow customers to get their hands on the fabrics and be measured by a professional.
Jack had measurements taken, and will be getting a custom dress shirt in the mail soon. Indochino is taking appointments for fittings in Boston through April 15, and with any suit purchase are also offering a free custom dress shirt.
We had a great time ogling fabrics and details, Jack is eager to see the quality and fit of his shirt – we’ll let you know how it goes – and Indochino already has his measurements on file, which could be dangerous going forward. The more (suits) the merrier?
Thanks to Jeff, Indochino and Deep Eddy for hosting, and to Smita for capturing some great photos as always! You can see her recap over at Hogger & Co.
