Wine Coffin

A dear friend threw himself an Irish wake for a 30th birthday party, and we felt it was only fitting to come bearing gifts appropriate for the occasion.

Jack built the miniature pine box by hand, and I sewed a cushion and neck pillow for the bottle of wine it was to contain. We penned a quick ode to the Dearly Departed Youth, and lettered the recipient’s name on the outside of the coffin.
